The Solar Regions is a larger campaign setting which includes The Outer Sky of Iovis and other potential locations such as The Ocean Moon and The Forest of Titan. It takes place in a time and reality wherein myriad species and cultures have inhabited the planets, satellites, and other celestial bodies of the Solar System for thousands of years.

Races and cultures in the Solar Regions are countless and infinitely variable, but a small set of common species are available to select from for standard character backgrounds.

Blue: A diminutive simian species with bat-like faces and bodies covered in a fine coat of fur. Despite the name, blue fur grows in a variety of hues due to interbreeding between the namesake species and the more varied goblinoids of the Inner and Outer Solar System.

Dromite: Small insectiod creatures descended from a species adapted to the environments of barren satellites and asteroids.

Elan: A humanoid species known for their ethereal appearence due to their pale skin of blues, greens, grays, and other hues, and their often brightly colored eyes.

Half-giant: A species of imposingly large humanoids believed by many scholars to be descended from the progenitors of intelligent life in the Solar System.

Maenad: A species of average-sized humanoids with an ability to perform feats of strength beyond their physical capacity for short lengths of time.

Xeph: A graceful species of humanoids known for resistance to magical effects and capable of exhibiting temporary bursts of speed.
